Main steps of pneumatic audit:

  1. The survey of the existing pneumatic system (pneumatic audit), creation of terms of reference for the engineering project;
  2. Creation of the connection project for the main and sub-equipment;
  3. Production and delivery of equipment;
  4. Equipment installation (installation supervision or supervision, in case the Customer will install the equipment);
  5. Start up works, acceptance testing, personnel training.

 

Why the pneumatic system audit is needed?

Pneumatic audit of the object, based on detailed analysis of an existing pneumatic system and other related systems (reward water supply, etc.) is needed for choosing of most efficient of company´s supply system, by compressed air. The main target of this survey is energy costs reduction for the production, treatment and transportation of compressed air. Once the Company has decided to modernize the production, a lot of companies invest preliminary to the new technological equipment or repair of it. We will help you with measurement of compressed air consumption, with choosing the needed compression equipment, getting the objective audit of an existing pneumatic system as well as recommendations of it´s optimization. Besides that pneumatic audit will support you with equipment modernization investment attractiveness: we provide the exact payback time of new equipment.

How we make the audit?

In most cases Energosafe starts from the existing pneumatic system survey, which includes scope of tasks, oriented on the high condensation presence in pneumatic pipelines, located in building and production halls (thermodynamic, hydraulic calculations and other). As a result of the survey we prepare the list of main and auxiliary equipment, which are needed for the required compressed air quality, and also avoiding of non-production losses. As a result of the audit we might recommend to move one or several pneumatic users to the local compression equipment. We are also able to assemble new equipment for our Customers. All tasks, which we propose for the implementation, based on made audit, are in the report of complex pneumatic system survey of the company.

Working steps for the existing pneumatic system audit: 

  • Thermodynamic analysis of parameters and technical solutions for the air distribution in difficult pneumatic pipelines of compressed air; 
  • Optimisation of industrial pneumatic grids and finding of technical solutions for the energy saving and reduction of compressed air pressure; 
  • Metrological compressed air parameters control, including: 
  1. compressed air loss definition; 
  2. measurement of compressor equipment power consumption;
  3. compressed air quality certificate; 
  4. development of system and technology of compressed air, including: 
  5. equipment feasibility study for the centralized and de-centralized pneumatic supply systems;  
  6. production and treatment of the compressed air.

The Feasibility study for the compressed air treatment system implementation in the company is calculated according to all general and maintenance costs and also comparing our optimization program with company´s existing situation, and, if necessary, with other competitive technical solutions. In most cases the payback time for the implementation of compressed air treatment system is from half a year to 2 years.
